What is TRE ?

TRE is a simple self-healing technique that activates our body’s instinctive neurogenic tremor mechanism in a safe and controlled way.

This process helps to release the build up of tension that accumulates in our body from stressful or traumatic life experiences.

What is EFT ?

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure employing  gentle tapping instead of needles which stimulates acupuncture points.

Tapping on the designated points on the face and body is combined with verbalizing the identified problem with a general affirmation phrase

An initial and informal chat is normally the  quickest and easiest way forward.  So often simply identifying exactly what needs to be resolved and forming a clear action plan to do so is one of the most important steps to progress in whatever issues are presented.

Some Common Questions

The following are some answers to often asked questions about both the technologies employed and the effects that they bring about. 

How much time is needed to learn the techniques?

Like learning any new skill there will be an initial period of practice although the exercises are enjoyable and super easy  to follow, as soon as the exercises are learned and practiced positive changes to your life are evident within a few days.   Over time people invariably find themselves activiating  the techniques quite naturally and automatically as part of their daily activities.

How often should I practice ?

Once you have learned the process and are comfortable with the techniques it’s entirely up to you.  An initial recommendation would be at least three to four times per week.

Can the techniques be used while engaged in watching TV, or as part of another exercise routine?

 Absolutely, in fact many people report that releasing the mind to other activities gives the  body increased ability to release tension without any ego/mind/thought interference in the process. For others the process of focusing on the body can be helpful and healing. The beauty of the techniques is that they develop personal decisions based on individual preference and experience while employing the tools .

How do these exercises cause emotions to surface?

Because these exercises relax tightly held muscles, buried emotions can surface for some people during deep muscular relaxation. Each session is unique. The body simply does what it needs to do. The goal is to allow this process to emerge naturally.

Single Sessions

Normally lasting from 60 to 90 minutes this gives clients an introduction into the techniques and helps them decide the best course of therapy

More Details

In this initial session information about the clients issus is gathered as well the aims and goals for treatment and self application.  Everybody arrives with different needs and the techniques are perfectly suitable for tailoring to each clients needs.

6 Week Coaching Package

After only the 2nd or 3rd session clients are starting to reap the benefits of self application.  Further sessions build on the initial results and continue at your own pace

More Details

Everybody operates at a different pace and has varying requirements for conditions and goals to be assisted with.  Clients can very quickly learn to self application of the techniques and by sessions 5 and 6 the client leads the way for ongoing development,

About Mary

Mary is a registered general nurse and certified practitioner of TRE and EFT.

Events in her own life have led Mary along a long path of searching and healing from traumatic and challenging issues.

Mary works with clients who are struggling with anxietytrauma and the associated symptoms following traumatic events including emotional and psychological abuse, particularly narcissistic abuse. 

With many years experience of these proven technologies Mary helps guide you back to your true self through the teaching of proven and effective self-care echniques which empower you to move forward into a new life with strength, vitality and emotional freedom.
